Hello everyone,

It feels like a good time to pull back the curtain a bit and share a more comprehensive update on the various creative endeavors underway here. Things have been incredibly active on several fronts, involving both steady progress on existing projects and the exciting (and sometimes challenging!) launch of new ones. So, grab a cup of coffee, and let’s dive into the latest developments.

The RaioCore Team Grows for DarkAge!

Let’s start with some truly fantastic news regarding DarkAge, the project currently being developed by our team here at RaioCore. As we continue to build out its world and narrative, the strength and synergy of our team are paramount. On that note, I am absolutely thrilled to announce that the RaioCore team itself has grown! We’ve recently welcomed a talented new writer aboard specifically to contribute to the DarkAge project.

Adding a fresh perspective and dedicated writing skills to our core team is a huge win for DarkAge. Bringing new energy and a unique viewpoint into our development process is invaluable as we tackle the complexities of the world and story we aim to create. We’re already buzzing with ideas and discussing how their specific talents can be best integrated into the ongoing work here at RaioCore. This expansion of our team marks a significant step forward, boosting our capacity and creative potential for the project. A massive, warm welcome to the newest member of the RaioCore family working on DarkAge! We’re so excited to have you with us.

Embarking on a Personal Journey: The Chronological Bible Reading Series

Moving onto new ventures, I’ve recently embarked on a project that feels both personally significant and like a fascinating challenge: a Chronological Bible Reading Series. The concept is straightforward but profound – reading through the Bible not in its traditional book order, but following a timeline that attempts to place the events, writings, and prophecies in their historical sequence. It’s a different way to experience the narrative and potentially gain new insights.

My intention was always to share this journey with you, episode by episode. And my plan, which I mentioned previously, was to have the very first episode ready and released today, March 30th.

However – and here comes the honest update part – I have to hold my hands up and say that I won’t be able to meet that self-imposed deadline today. I did sit down and record the first installment, eager to get started. But upon listening back to the raw audio… well, “horrible” might be a strong word, but it’s certainly far from the quality I want to present. It needs significant editing, smoothing out, and likely some re-recording in parts to make it listenable and respectful of the content.

The simple truth is, the dedicated time required for that level of audio editing just hasn’t materialized amidst the other ongoing work. I feel genuinely bad about announcing a release for today and not delivering. It’s a frustrating stumble right out of the gate for this particular series. But rushing it out in its current state wouldn’t be fair to you, nor would it do justice to the project itself. Quality has to come first. Please accept my apologies for the delay. Getting Episode 1 polished and ready for release is now a major priority, and I will update you the moment it’s actually ready to go live.

Introducing Project Two: Welcome to ‘Rudemates’

Alongside the Bible series, I’ve kicked off another, very different kind of project, tentatively titled “Rudemates.” This series aims to be a much more grounded, slice-of-life chronicle. It will document my experiences, observations, and the general day-to-day happenings that come with sharing a living space with my current roommates.

Beyond just the apartment walls, it will also likely explore the surrounding neighborhood – the characters, the quirks, the atmosphere. Think of it as an observational journal, capturing the candid, sometimes funny, sometimes challenging, and often unpredictable nature of shared living and community dynamics. It’s a departure from more structured narrative work, leaning into real-time documentation. I’m curious and excited to see how this series shapes up and what kind of stories emerge from just paying attention to the everyday.

Looking Ahead

So, that’s the current state of play: The RaioCore team working on DarkAge is growing stronger with a fantastic new addition, the Chronological Bible Reading series is underway (albeit with a brief, quality-control-related pause at the starting line), and the Rudemates chronicle has officially begun.

It’s a period of intense activity, learning curves, and creative energy. Thank you, as always, for your interest and support in these projects. Your patience, especially regarding the delay on the Bible series’ first episode, is truly appreciated. I’m committed to getting that sorted and sharing it with you as soon as it meets the necessary standard.

Keep an eye out for more updates, and hopefully, that first Bible episode will be landing soon!

All the best,

– Raioix
